Due to rapid expansion, this major telecommunications retailer are looking for a dedicated buyer to oversee all aspects of purchasing for their growth data product category.

About the Role
As the buyer for data products you will be responsible for working closely with manufacturer partners in shaping the product range and manufacturer support that achieves the overall category volume, margin and revenue targets. You will work closely with the other trading functions (Supply Chain, Marketing, Postpay and Group Purchasing) as well as the retail and on-line selling channels to ensure delivery of successful performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Building relationships and business plans with each of the data handset manufacturers to build long-term reward
Ensuring that the best deal is delivered for customers whilst also ensuring this is commercially strong for the business
Generating new opportunities and setting up new trading commercials that deliver long-term revenue opportunities
Ensuring all marketing and volume rebate targets are achieved over the financial year
What We’re Looking For
This leading retailer is looking for an experienced and confident negotiator that has a track record of negotiating with major blue chip brands. They will be highly analytical and commercially decisive with experience in launching new products to market in ideally a technology based retail background.
About the Offer
This is a superb opportunity working within high profile category for a well recognised brand in the retail industry. Salary of approximately 50 – 60K plus bonus and benefits package is available (flexible on experience).
