Category Manager – Broadband
South East - South East
Leading telecomms retailer requires an exceptional candidate to join their wireless trading team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end broadband proposition development and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Launch innovative and unique product offerings.
- Own the relationship with the broadband network partners including commercial agreements, day to day operations and development of potential opportunities.
- Ensure a market leading broadband range, providing customers with choice and therefore placing them as a leading destination for purchasing broadband.
- Develop relationships with network account and marketing teams and negotiation of broadband commercial terms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, buyers and channel manager to define a complete broadband proposition.
- Successfully launch new products, including coordination of product set-up, commission set-up, marketing and sales briefings.
- Responsible for delivery against volume and margin budgets, ensuring visibility to performance, driving sales channels and deploying ongoing tactical measures.
- Analysis of performance and communicating through the business; opportunity analysis, recommendations and implementation.
- Consistently demonstrate an in depth knowledge of relevant categories, target customers and the marketplace.
Applicants will ideally have strong product management, development or commercial experience gained ideally within the telecomms industry. Experience of product or channel marketing process experience would be an advantage. You will have a proven track record of strong relationship building, influencing and gaining buy in at all organisation levels, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideally you be educated to degree standard, or equivalent, with excellent interpersonal skills.
