A client of ours, a small engineering consultancy based in the North West, is looking to appoint a Non Executive Chairman / Director to support the current MD and senior management team in develop the business. They are a very successful business that is well established, well known and with a strong reputation in their chosen fields and they are looking to grow in both numbers and expertise over the next few years.
What they are looking for is an experienced businessman and mentor for the management team ideally with a construction background and an understanding of the way that the industry procures design work but above all someone who can inspire them and add value from a management perspective.
It is anticipated that this will be very much a part-time and occasional role, perhaps a total of 6-12 days per annum with a rate to be agreed.
