Our client, a high-growth security software vendor moving through a particularly exciting period in their globalisation, is now embarking on a significant shift in go to market model in a number of key regions – in this instance, the UK. This shift is being implemented to optimise the effectiveness of the company’s intent to increase market share in SMB, coinciding with the most recent software version release and move to two tier distribution model.

This, as a consequence now leads to the requirement to identify a key hire and significant contributor to the business. Channel Sales Director focussing on SMB.

The successful candidate will manage, control and drive a two tier channel sales operation for the SMB market, incorporating distribution, resellers, inside sales and ofcourse, customers. The candidate must ensure that the business strategy and objectives are successfully delivered through achieving and increasing sales revenues. This will mean leading from the front, in the field and by example. You will create a credible, no-nonsense sales culture; one conducive with the business’ plans to IPO within 18 months.

This role is critical and as a consequence, we are extremely keen to acquire the very best of available talent. Both expedient career progression and significant earnings are attainable for the right individuals. Strong performance and leadership qualities in this environment must be in evidence along with a clear ability to motivate those around them. This is a business which is currently in an aggressive phase of growth and as such, we are looking to identify applicants with key drivers to achieve success, as well as evident self-sufficiency.
