Chief Operating Officer

The client is a recognised leader in their field, with an excellent 25 year heritage. Subject to a recent MBO with backing from LDC and Barclays Bank, the company lead an impressive growth strategy delivered both organically and though acquisition.

As a result of the recent MBO the business are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead it’s operational team and deliver improved services and growth against a clear financial plan.

With over 1,300 employees across 4 main geographical locations, you will be directly responsible for a team of Operations Managers (currently 7), Marketing and Human Resources.

This appointment will be pivotal in the preparation and implementation of the business plan, with a planned exit to be achieved in 3-5 years. As a main board member this will be rewarded with significant equity and resulting financial reward at the end of this process.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate success at leading complete budgetary control of a multi-site operation, ideally within a regulated environment. You will have the capability to maximise the performance of an established team.

Able to demonstrate a successful track record in a service environment with paying customers, the ideal candidate will demonstrate success in the retail, leisure, catering, or health and care sectors.
