This ‘blue chip’ international construction firm with more than 30,000 employees takes great pride in its reputation for achieving the highest standards in performance, quality, safety and staff development. A chief quantity surveyor is required for their Oman office.
Responsibilities will include:
– Contract administration
– Preparation and review of tender documentation
– Valuation and certification
– Time extension and variation claims, arbitration etc.
Candidate requirements:
– A bachelors degree in engineering, quantity surveying or similar
– A minimum of 15 years in a quantity surveying role
– Building and MEP works experience and familiarity with FIDIC standard forms of contract
– A main contractor background
– Staff management/training experience is preferred but not essential
