CHIEF QUANTITY SURVEYOR

This ‘blue chip' international construction firm with more than 30,000 employees takes great pride in its reputation for achieving the highest standards in performance, quality, safety and staff development. A chief quantity surveyor is required for their Oman office.
Responsibilities will include:
– Contract administration
– Preparation and review of tender documentation
– Valuation and certification
– Time extension and variation claims, arbitration etc.
Candidate requirements:
– A bachelors degree in engineering, quantity surveying or similar
– A minimum of 15 years in a UK-based quantity surveying role
– Building and MEP works experience and familiarity with FIDIC standard forms of contract
– A main contractor background
– Staff management/training experience is preferred but not essential
