CIS Consultant - Communications and Information Sy

We are seeking to appoint a Senior CIS Consultant to lead and work on a varied range of projects within our defence portfolio of projects. Key subject areas include military communications and information systems (CIS), particularly in the areas of: requirements, analysis, design, architecture, interoperability, planning, through life management and security.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant commercial experience in the following domains:
•Previous consultancy experience associated with military communications and information systems (this may include a relevant MSc, PhD and/or work experience).
•Knowledge of a range of such systems and technologies.
•Ability to liaise effectively with clients to define and clarify requirements, assess relevant data/information and provide consultancy advice as appropriate.
•Ability to lead technical teams and delegate work appropriately to team members.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
•Flexible approach to work, able to work alone or as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements for the role:
•System architecture definition, system management, service delivery.
