CLAS Consultant (18 Month Contract)

They require a dedicated CLAS consultant to provide advice, guidance and the development of a plan for the accreditation of a Corporate network for connection into GSi and it's long term security requirements. Due to the nature of the work required you will be an accredited CLAS Consultant and will be experience in working on government systems with the appropriate CESG standards for gaining accreditation. Desirably you will have experience of working in project management environments where PRINCE2 methodology has been utilised and will have the technical and policy knowledge and application knowledge of current government security standards and requirements. (Particularly in relation to their implementation on both systems and networks to meet departmental accreditation). In addition it would be highly desirable if you were a PRINCE2 practitioner and have working knowledge of the ITIL approach to IT service management. The requirement is for a full time CLAS consultant potentially for up to 18 months (approximately 300 days). A full and comprehensive specification is available.
