Client Engagement Manager
Reading, Berkshire - London, South East, Thames Valley
My client, an Ecommerce platform provider, is looking for a Client Engagement Manager. Responsible for selling services engagement to new and existing customers and for “account” relationships with clients, the successful candidate will be the liaison between sales, project delivery teams and clients.
Responsibilities will include:
-Shaping, directing and negotiating services engagement proposals and ensuring that effective delivery meets business goals for the company and its clients
-Discovering, creating and closing new professional services opportunities
-Guiding the development of solutions within the structure of a coherent business case
-Building and maintaining detailed account profiles; plan, construct and forecast budgets
-Actively participating in contract negotiations on prospect/ new client accounts
-Penetrating client organisations to identify, quantify and close additional business
-Actively engaging in business requirements, gathering and converting to business solutions
-Assuring that a correct team is assembled for services engagement
-Attaining P&L targets
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Programme Manager, Engagement Manager or Senior Consultant position, with experience of working on an average deal size of £300k+. You will have a proven track record of exceeding expectations and an aggressive, hands-on attitude towards sales and closing. You will be a strong player, with outstanding communication skills – excellent spoken and written English is a must. You will be able and willing to travel as required (holding an EU passport).
