Our client is a global Financial Services Organisation. Due to their continuing expansion within the UK they are seeking to recruit a Collections Manager to effectively manage all site specific Collections, Litigation and Mortgage in Possession processes, ensuring a high level of customer service to all customers, both internal and external, and maximising account resolution with the return to up-to-date status of borrowers accounts by effectively managing and reducing delinquency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Maximise the collection of arrears accounts in accordance with company standards, reducing delinquency with the objective of returning borrower accounts to a resolved or up-to-date payment status

·Establishing protocols to limit the delinquency of borrowers accounts, through the effective management of the collections process

·Contingency planning for level/volume of loan accounts, allowing for changes arising from external economic factors

·Maintenance of Service Levels in Collections, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times

·Demonstrate flexibility to manage activities across sites as required and co-ordinate activities with cross site counterpart

·Lead & motivate team by creating a sense of purpose to meet the goals of the business through coaching & leading by example

·Develop Clear, Concise, Complete & Consistent key Collections communications - Present these to Sr. Corporate executives in a efficient & effective manner

·Develop cross functional relationships & work/collaborate with Risk/Finance/IT to achieve Collection goals

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

·Min 5 yrs in a Collections or Litigation environment, where at least 3 yrs has been spent at a management level

·Knowledge of collections and litigation processes and procedures including dialler experience

·Finance background, with particular exposure to UK secured/unsecured loans

·Budgeting, forecasting and planning experience in an operational environment

·Extensive knowledge of the FSA, CCA, Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Strong presentation skills

·Strong focus on results-led management
