Commercial Finance Manager
Slough - Thames Valley
The role holder will be responsible for providing effective commercial and contractual support to one of the company's four business units, which will include:
oProvision of management, planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis
oContract management including change control and administration
oNew business development including pricing and business case development
oSupporting the General Manager in driving the business forward, driving short and medium term revenue and profit growth, supporting the P&L management and ensuring appropriate commercial and pricing governance is in place
oLeading a team of financial analysts and commercial management
oAdvising on commercial issues
oCommunicating financial performance to senior management and shareholders
The Person
oBusiness financial management and planning experience from within the ICT and/or communications solutions and services market
oExtensive contract management experience and strong negotiating skills
oAn understanding of government/public sector frameworks and procurement strategies would be extremely advantageous but is not essential
oGood people management and leadership skills
oA career beginning in finance but which has moved into a meaningful commercial management role
