This company is a major player in the defence manufacturing industry. The products they manufacture are critical for first line defence services and public safety requirements. Due to recent restructuring and business improvement, they are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join their growing facility on the Dorset coast.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager:
+ Preparation of detailed and competitive Commercial Proposals
+ Interpretation of customer requirements
+ Collation of price information and creation of pricing spreadsheets
+ Drafting of contract terms, including negotiation of terms
+ Handling of customer enquiries

Experience and skills required for the Commercial Manager role:
+ Degree educated in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
+ Proven contract negotiation, management and administration skills
+ Import and Export experience within the defence industry
+ Excellent communication and computer skills
+ In-depth and up-to-date knowledge and experience of UK aerospace or defence procurement procedures

Due to the nature of this role, a current SC security clearance or the ability to obtain this clearance will be necessary.
