Commercial Manager - FMCG
Nr Peterborough - East Anglia
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join a fast-moving and dynamic business based in Spalding, Lincolnshire. The role will be based around the successful candidate and the existing business mix, so may involve a single or multiple retailer account, dependant on the size of the retail account.
The Duties:
• Responsible for the day to day management of retailer accounts
• Generation of account plans
• Budgetary profit and loss responsibility
• Business strategy
• New product development
• Category and relationship management
The Person:
• Must have substantial commercial experience managing retail accounts in FMCG
• Demonstrable experience as a skilled relationship manager
• Category Management
• Consumer and marketing KPI’s
• Costing, margins and negotiation
• Forecasting
• Ability to prioritise
• Project management
• Promotions
• Understanding of commercial decisions on profit and loss are a prerequisite for this position
