Commercial Manager

Burns Carlton Plc Executive Selection Consultancy division is currently recruiting for a well established and progressive multi-disciplined consultancy. To allow for continued global investment, innovation and growth we are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager. The UK based operation actively services the market through engineering, construction, architectural and project activities providing services to a number of sectors including Civils, Infrastructure, Environmental, Structural and Aviation.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Commercial Director and will work closely with other business units throughout the bidding / tendering process and contract management. You will benefit from a competitive package and continual investment in your personal drivers, development needs and succession planning. Security is emphasised through the backing of a global group with circa £3bn turnover, however my client prides itself on taking a personal approach to its employees and client alike offering bespoke specialist services within a highly competitive market place.

Candiates shortlisted will have the opportunity to join a business and be tasked with driving the commercial element forward through bid participation, risk evaluations, claims preparation, auditing and commercial reviews. You will need to display a proven track record in commercial development in a similar role within a multi disciplined consultancy with an excellent knowledge of contract form and legislation. Security clearance is also essential.
