These are wide ranging interesting and unusual roles in a demanding customer driven environment. Our Client is a leading provider of logistics services to the retail and broader fmcg sectors. With a well deserved reputation for excellence of service and for innovative solutions, the Client is experiencing rapid growth and sees these roles as pivotal to managing customer offerings.
Reporting to a Divisional Operations Director and with close links to functional and operational colleagues, you will have a full remit to evaluate all aspects of their customer contracts, performing due diligence to ensure adherence to financial best practice. You will be part of the commercial, development and operational teams and your input will be essential for all aspects of the commercial function. These wide ranging positions encompass costing, management accounts, contract negotiation, contract compilation and sign off, modelling, business improvement and presentation – both internally and to customers.
Certainly CIMA qualified, your experience will have been gained in a fast moving services sector – ideally 3PL logistics but certainly in a business which is highly customer focussed. You will have demonstrable experience of financial costing, management accounts, contract negotiation and continuous improvement. Highly credible, robust and visible, your input will only be matched by your ability to make a real difference with high profile discerning customers. Numeracy and literacy are essential as is your exposure to sophisticated systems and financial processes. These are excellent career roles in a progressive and uncluttered business.
