Location: Northamptonshire / Cambridgeshire / Bedfordshire
The Commercial Manager will provide a commercial, contractual and financial service to individual projects and to the business as a whole, and provide commercial management support for existing and potential contracts through all stages of the process.
Our client is a successful and growing enterprise, well supported by blue chip parent companies and offering excellent prospects for career progression. Core projects include the ongoing maintenance, renovation, refurbishment and upgrading of a large number of residential accommodation units, situated in multiple locations around the UK.
The Commercial Manager will help maximise the financial effectiveness and profitability of the business through the application of proper commercial and contractual practices and the management of risk. The successful Commercial Manager will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a previous Commercial role and a good understanding of commercial and contractual issues, bid and tendering processes, estimating and cost analysis, subcontracting, dispute resolution and risk ( and cash ) management.,
Experience in construction, property maintenance, housing maintenance services, Facilities Management ( FM ) or a related field is desirable but not essential.
