Commercial Technology Consultant - Mobile Comms

Our client is a well respected and highly successful communication and information solutions company operating within a clear market niche. Their business is currently expanding and they are planning significant growth.
As part of their expansion they now wish to recruit a talented and experienced Consultant into what is essentially a presales consulting role supporting sales opportunities both in the UK and internationally, creating innovative customer solutions which expand the boundaries of their traditional services.
You would lead, manage and motivate a virtual team of technical specialists, subject matter experts and programme/project management resources, ensuring that the vision and strategy for the solution is fulfilled by a compelling technical and service proposition which is closely aligned to customer business and operational requirements and holds up to a viable business model.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who is driven, ambitious and has a track record of consultative selling with a true consultancy background. You will be highly customer facing, proactive and have good presales experience, delivering billable consultancy and adding value to clients, writing comprehensive business cases and pulling solutions together. Your technical understanding will be sufficient to understand the potential of secure networks, mission critical services, especially mobile communications and preferably for the emergency services. A business or engineering degree, MBA and some ITIL knowledge would all be advantageous.
