Compliance Manager, Private Equity

A leading private equity fund focussing on private mid-market UK and European businesses, with the objective of delivering long term capital appreciation.

·Develop a compliance framework within the business, enhancing compliance awareness with staff and provide training and regulatory guidance where required
·Monitor all relevant areas of the business to ensure compliance with regulations and adherence to departmental procedures
·Conduct regular monthly and adhoc monitoring across all areas of the business, including delegated functions
·Review all errors and breaches reported to compliance to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken and report where required to management
·Develop a compliance manual
·Assess credit risks
·Monitor personal account dealing, gifts and benefits
·Maintain Approved Persons register
·Maintain competence in line with regulatory requirements

Skills/Experience:
·Exposure to and understanding of MiFFID regulations
·Relevant work experience gained within a similar industry
·Previous experience in setting up a compliance function ideal
·Experience in dealing with FSA
·Ability to work autonomously
·Strong communication skills
