Our client provides international families with wealth management and fiduciary services. It is owned by management and staff, and is independent and intensely relationship driven. Client objectives are likely to focus on developing, maintaining and effectively controlling family wealth across generations. THE ROLE The principal functions of the role are: 1.Provision of consultancy services, issue and project management 2.Provision of regulatory training3.Meeting new regulatory requirements and maintenance of compliance-related policies, e.g. Financial Crime Policy 4.Maintaining risk map, assisting to ensure management information 5.Operational risk management6.Management of regulatory relationships PERSON SPECIFICATION Experience·Experience in senior compliance role ·Exposure to operational risk management·Experience in the marketing of compliance with requirements for UCITS funds registered outside of the UK and with marketing and distribution through European and Far East registered fundsSkills·Relevant compliance and risk expertise within financial services. ·Sound judgement and decision-making skills; ability to deal effectively with a principle-based approach ·Thorough knowledge of FSA regulations ·Credibility in a range of skills/levels (compliance, operational risk, fraud, business continuity)·Excellent oral and written communication skills ·Experience in developing, interpreting and ensuring implementation of policy·Strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills; ability to engage others ·Good relationship management skills at all levels; robust, credible, personable and professional ·Good project-management skills ·Evidence of proactively keeping abreast of latest regulatory developments, and good knowledge of best practice·Proactive and solution focused ·Computer literacy (Wo
