Conference Manager (French/Portuguese/Russian)

Our client is a “Club” of senior real estate investors and developers active across the World. It is one of the leading providers of executive level conferences and meetings for the global real estate sector. Running events for between 250 and 600 delegates and speakers world-wide - its members constitute the most senior global community of major players in order to facilitate networking and business development. The events are highly content driven - and cater only for the needs of the most senior executives in the sector. Currently running 9 events per year, our client is looking to expand rapidly into new territories over the coming months.

They are currently looking to recruit Conference Producer's with fluent French, Russian or Portuguese and flawless English to further develop our client’s international events. Your primary responsibilities will be to discuss and research conference content with senior players in the real estate sector, develop a credible programme and secure the participation of up to 200 discussion “facilitators” or “Discussion chairs” per event. You will have total project management responsibility for 2 events per annum, each of which will take a year to develop.

You will most probably have a background in journalism, editorial or conference production and will have very highly developed interpersonal skills. You will capable of developing an intellectual interest in the topic of global real estate, even if you have no current knowledge in the area. You will be able to take the initiative without being prompted and will be able to make things happen. Above all, you must be capable of conversing with and gaining the respect of CEOs and other high level individuals in order to galvanise interest and participation in your events.

A highly competitive basic salary of 25-35K is available for the right candidate, commensurate with experience and credentials, with the opportunity to earn an extra 5-15K in profit share per annum when reaching cruising speed, depending on the success of your events.
