Contracts Manager - Bristol - £60000-£62000 plus package
With a South West Base and a national operation our client's services extend throughout the UK to cover all aspect of concrete structures in both building and civil engineering sectors with a wealth of experience in the construction of frames for leisure, office retail and residential developments together with structures for road, rail, aviation and water industries.
They currently require a competent Contracts Manager with experience of projects or sub contracts valuing £7m - £10m is required to manage the ground works and daily supervision of multiple sub-contractors, ensuring detailed planning is adhered to and relevant reporting processes are actively in place.
Making sure the project is delivered on time and on budget is essential so the chosen candidate must be committed and have a proven track record in project delivery. The successful candidate will manage the activities of the team to ensure the programme plan is achieved within agreed timescales, to company safety standards and client specification. Additional main duties will include planning activity, organising and co-ordinating the site team and sub contractors; making expectations clear and regularly reviewing performance standards. you will have experience of managing projects up to £10m and already be working for a recognised Contractor.
You'll monitor quality of work and implement and maintain health, safety and environmental legislation and company procedures.
