You will be responsible for delivering complex mixed use schemes which allow our business to enter new markets and deliver new space for the business. You will project manage all aspects of delivery of a scheme on a trading or brown field site including leading teams of external consultants and suppliers leading the internal team taking projects through the recognised processes in consultation with key internal stakeholders. You will manage brief building and project delivery to optimise customer and community satisfaction using industry knowledge, experience and innovation to procure and develop optimum schemes. You will be responsible for managing construction budgets and control variation costs within budgets with occasional participation in cross functional and step-change projects.
You must have knowledge of the construction process from inception of a project to agreeing final accounts and aftercare with proven project management skills in a similar role. You will have experience of building contracts and working with other construction professionals, including solicitors and specialist consultants. You will be a good communicator who is comfortable leading and inspiring teams and working on your own initiative. You will be flexible, open to change and have different ways of working and committed to delivering excellence in a results driven organisation. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will hold RICS or CIOB, minimum HNC in construction although not essential. Also a proven track record and demonstrable experience will also be a consideration.
