Our client is seeking a Construction Director with a proven track record in a Senior Level Director role as part of their ongoing growth and development.
Based out of our Client's office in the East Midlands you will be responsible for overseeing the overall Construction programmes and methods for a medium sized, established contractor, the role will involve amongst other duties appraising the viability of projects through tender stages, onto the construction and handover stages.

Your role will entail being involved with repeat clients from the original project conception, through the various preparatory stages in planning and budgeting, advising and overseeing the Contracts and Project Managers in all aspects of the different schemes, ranging from temporary works to scaffold and shuttering proposals, structural concepts and modifications or variations to design changes. Commercial awareness and understanding will also be expected.
The company's success is due to the quality and strength of the management team and the employment of a highly skilled and trained workforce who are experienced in providing cost effective and practical solutions for construction projects.
The successful applicant will have a strong background within contracting and will have been within a Director position, Commercial or Construction, for at least the last 3 years. You will also have an exceptional knowledge of main contracting and of the construction industry as a whole.
