Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager - 6 months - Central London - Media
A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to work for a really interesting and dynamic client based in Central London. Reporting into Head of Commercial Management, you will manage existing contractual agreements, ensuring value for money, compliance with contractual obligations and delivery of desired outcomes.
Main responsibilities:
-Management of 2 Contract Analysts
-Providing operational management and to manage negotiation of existing and new contracts
-To ensure appropriate commercial support and advice is provided and that contract/supplier related issues are promptly dealt with
-To attend contractual meetings
-To identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and financial performance of contracts
-Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all service providers
-To provide suitable training programmes in procurement, contract management etc
Essential skills:
-3 years + experience of contract management ideally within media/technology based environment
-Vast experience in advising senior managers on contractual issues, negotiation, monitoring and strategy
-Substantial line management and team review experience
-Practical knowledge and experience of procurement regulation and processes
-Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
-Proven track record of delivering quality standards
-Extensive understanding of business and project life cycles
-Excellent communicator, relationship-builder and manager
-Understands and anticipates the need for change
