Customer Project Team leader - Telecoms Operator

We are looking for highly dynamic and commercial individuals who thrive upon working as hands on player managers with experience of managing multiple bespoke projects internationally, projects will typically involve MPLS, Managed Services (Hosting, Security, Colo) and Conferencing (Cisco) solutions for multiple sites.

You must have significant experience managing and driving a team of Project Managers and can demonstrate strong leadership qualities.

As a hands on Project leader; You will be responsible for driving the Customer Project Managers, act as escalation point and support on major bids, managing and driving large bespoke customer projects to stringent cost and time frames. In addition you will manage the project resources, documentation, cost and ensure a high level of Project Quality.

To be considered you MUST demonstrate the following skills and experience;

- Leadership experience, having managed significant Project Management teams historically (Must be recent).
- Must have previous experience as a Project Manager managing multiple large complex projects.
- Minimum qualification - PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Must have experience of delivering customer projects and of working in a structured project environment.
- Must have working knowledge of internet and telecommunications networking technologies. Knowledge of MPLS technology, telepresence or Managed Hosting solutions would be an advantage.
- Must have proven track record of Project or Programme Management within the Telecommunications sector or a related industry.
- Experience of project managing in a Global environment is desirable.
