Data Centre Transformation Consultant

Data Centre Transformation. Our client is a global technology consulting firm they work with major corporate clients with regard to planning strategy and the design and implementation of data centre solutions. Candidates must be expert in the field of data centre management and have a sound understanding of data centre consolidation, virtualisation, infrastructure automation etc.
This is a senior role and as such the incumbent will have considerable input into the sales process particularly in the demonstration of my customers credentials as a leading player both strategically and in terms of solutions delivery in the data centre transformation / optimisation arena.
Candidates do not need to be technical experts in all aspects of data centre technologies but they do need to have a broad understanding of server, storage and networking technologies, they should also have a broad understanding of the various tools that are available for data centre management.
As a consulting role this person will be 90% customer facing and that will require a high level of mobility with travel throughout the UK on a frequent basis.
