Database (DBA) Manager

Role: Global DBA Manager
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
Location: London
Role Description: We are currently looking for a Global DBA Manager to work for a leading Investment Bank based in the City. The role will require you to be responsible for managing the database programme on globally, as well as being responsible for all the regionally aligned database teams. You will need to build relationships across multiple technology teams and IT Managers. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the database engineering processes and methodologies, in order to make sure that the goal of maximizing the use of technical resource. Technically you will have a proven track record of database administration in Sybase, Oracle and or SQL Server. You must also have previous management experience.
Experience Required:
• Technically you will have a proven track record of database administration experience in Sybase, Oracle and or SQL Server
• Experience of ITIL
• Managerial experience
• Designing and executing a global technology strategy for a large-scale complex infrastructure environment
• Experience of building and leading a high performance global enterprise architecture
• Experience of owning and managing global service.
