Deputy General Manager
Our client is involved with many of the large oil & gas projects that are currently underway in Saudi Arabia and as such they require a new Deputy General Manager.
1) Have, at minimum, a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering
2) Preferable extensive working experience and knowledge within and of the Oil & Gas Industry
3) Have understanding of the International Oil & Gas Sector, preferably inclusive of the GCC countries
As a member of the senior management team your primary responsibility will be to grow, manage, and increase market share and repeat business as well as deliver consistent service excellence and a steady increased in profits.
Reporting to the Executive Director you would provide executive level management oversight and strategic direction to the assigned company divisions. Analyze and revise existing sales procedures to increase sales and profits; assist in the development and growth of the company’s short- and long-range plans; assist in the preparation of the company’s overall financial plan and budget; and respond to and resolve client inquiries and complaints.
You will need to establish a systems and procedures in all areas under your control to maintain and comply with all company and legal requirements. These procedures must be regularly monitored and updated in order to achieve service excellence and best practice as set out in the company objectives.
You will have to have the ability to motivate the staff under your direct control to achieve best practice and the required standards of service, in line with current employment legislation.
Additional Requirements:
• Chemical Investment Plan: Analyze, review feasibility studies for local manufacturing facilities of Barite, Bentonite, & Xantham Gum.
• Mechanical Expansion Plan: Analyze, review & present feasibility studies for a workshop/machine-shop dedicated to drilling equipment, as well as, a drilling related equipment rentals and fishing tools facility, in addition to aggressively pursuing the sales of LeTourneau Drilling Equipment, Lewco and OEMS products.
• Monthly Reports: Prepare and submit monthly reports pertaining to the activities of sales, services, & operations of the company’s highlighting the achievements & progress of each group, in comparison to their respective business goals.
• Streamline: Assess, oversee, and optimize the collection time frames & procedures. Present results on a weekly basis.
• Communicate: Effectively with all internal and external organizations to promote the company. Responsible for maintaining effective and constructive communication with all support departments, consisting of Government Relations, Administration, Human Resource, Accounting, & Legal.
• Excellent oral and written English, combined with strong presentation and influencing skills.
