Are you a senior retail project manager looking for the next step up? We are one of the world’s leading retailers and are currently looking for a senior project manager to join our fastest growing retail area in a management position - managing a team of project managers. You will lead and develop a team of project managers to build new stores (circa 150) or convert shop units to meet the growth plans of the business and provide the right stores for our customers.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and motivate a team of Store Project Managers through demonstration of your leadership skills and technical expertise.
- Lead a team to achieve project timescales and standards; quality and safety.
- Achieve project closedown targets and customer key performance indicators.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities through teams
- Use knowledge and experience to monitor and identify trends in key performance indicators and put plans in place to improve performance around the company ‘steering wheel’.
- Manage a flow of inter-related problems that need to be prioritised and solved using your experience and the necessary skill set within the team.
- Balance development programme key performance indicators and the property services ‘steering wheel’ to achieve our long term plans.
- Use escalation effectively to engage heads of departments to solve issues in appropriate time scales and minimise risk.
- Identify and implement solutions to continually improve the performance of teams and individuals.
- Manage the implementation of change ensuring the least disruption to the development programme key performance indicators and steering wheel.
- Improve the overall business operating model.

OPERATING (TECHNICAL) SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Institute of Building qualified to member level or equivalent
