Overview:
Are you looking to join a cutting edge wealth management company that has set out to radically improve the professionally managed wealth market-place forever?
My client, looking to make a huge splash in this industry, is looking for a DevOps/Backend Engineer for their offices just South of Zurich that will be responsible for developing and maintaining their intelligent tech platform. If you have Back-end software development experience in Node.js and you're familiar with Docker, Cloud and Infrastructure as a Service, I'd love to hear from you.
The ideal applicant
* Backend software development experience using Node.js
* Practical experience of es6 or Typescript
* Some knowledge of Docker or Docker Cloud
* Experience of AWS, Azure or other IaaS services
* A background in finance , banking or similar
* An eagerness to quickly pick up new technologies
* An ability to quickly understand what the client has set out to achieve
* Fluent English is a must and fluent German is a big advantage
About the job
* The build of their in-house platform using cutting edge tech like Node.js
* Design, implement and launch scalable systems to develop new products
* Hands-on design, coding, testing, and deployment of the backend
* Clean code writing to create functional web apps
* Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user facing elements
* Design and maintain a deployment pipeline with CircleCI and automate deployment where possible
* Perform vulnerability assessments on system components
* Help with cluster tuning and configuration for databases, proxies and load balancers
