An international firm dealing in asset management, investments, finance and corporate governance is seeking a director for its Cyprus office.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
~ Management of the Cyprus office in respect of day-to-day operational issues, including P&L and team development
~ Involvement in forging strategic partnerships, product development and identifying new opportunities
~ Relationship management and third-party opportunistic business, generating revenue and working towards the growth of the company
~ Communication with the company's other offices in relation to mutual projects, networking and business expansion
~ Ensuring compliance with Cypriot laws and regulations
Qualifications and experience:
~ An independent and autonomous professional attitude and a strong academic record
~ An accounting or finance background
~ At least ten years' experience in a managerial role within international financial services in Cyprus
~ Well organised, with good administrative skills and an eye for detail
~ Excellent written and oral presentation skills
~ The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
~ Fluent English and Greek are essential
~ Ideal candidates will have gained experience both in Cyprus and abroad; a sound understanding of the Cypriot market and culture is essential
~ A finance degree or related qualification
