Director Maintenance Services - IFE & Connectivity

We are recruiting for a Director Maintenance Services for our US-based IFE & Connectivity company. With a global responsibility for all MS operational locations, this exciting role is based in the USA. However we welcome applicants from global locations as your work will take you to many different locations.
The Director Maintenance Services will act a as a key business leader with a focus on ensuring the execution of Maintenance Services (MS) contractual obligations. The role will also entail developing initiatives to meet or exceed performance expectations and budgeting requirements at each operational location.
Roles & responsibilities of Director Maintenance Services IFE:
+ Maintains a full understanding of each operational site's contractual requirements and internal company commitments.
+ Works with Regional MS Managers to create strategic plans to administer and manage the execution of each operational site's requirements and commitments while striving to ensure each site is at or below their budgetary requirements.
+ Develops global, strategic initiatives that will improve the communication and interaction of MS internal staff with customers and suppliers.
+ Through knowledge of industry and industry contacts, identifies business opportunities that will increase customer satisfaction and market share.
+ Communicates business opportunities for executive management review.
+ Ensures all operational sites are compliant with all regulatory requirements and ensures corrective action is taken if out of compliance.
+ Manages MS Regional Managers to ensure they accept full accountability for their sites' performance and that there are consistent operational procedures within entire global organization.
The Director Maintenance Services will need the following skills/experience:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
+ Significant management experience in a service organization.
+ In-depth industry knowledge of IFE & Connectivity.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present to executive decision makers.
+ Strong organisational and planning skills
+ Training and directing employees
+ Ability to interview, hire, and appraise employees.
+ Highly developed team building skills.
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
