Our Client is a multi- national food logistics and facilities provider providing food logistics, catering, fm and retail services across The Middle East, Africa and Near Asia.
Our client is now seeking a Director of Contract Administration to be based at its regional service centre in Dubai.
Reporting into the Commercial Director the Director of Contract Administration will be
responsible for the contracts between the company and customers/service providers by establishing and maintaining advantageous contracts in order to improve business performance, safeguard capacity, quality, cost and continuity.
You will provide Business Units management direction for all contract related matters, interfacing with all customers and service providers, and deal with specialized contract problems as they relate to the region, customer, service provider, government and unexpected issues.
You will evaluate contract performance and deliverables and be responsible for the development of contract templates and strategy.
The main tasks will be performing the full range of contract administration functions for a portfolio of large and medium sized contracts of diverse types, administer new and ongoing contracts, develop budgets, technical and cost proposals and manage the competitive bidding and selection process. The Director of Contract Administration will also be responsible for negotiating and procuring contracts, track and report on contract deliverables, formulate and execute business strategies, maintaining contract files and developing negotiation strategies.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will need to be accomplished in Contracts Administration with your experience being supported by a degree in a relevant field such as business administration or economics etc.
You require previous experience in Contracts Management & Administration with major defence contractors / United Nations & / or experience with complex / high dollar value international contract negotiation together with a working knowledge of service type contracts, DoD contracting, award fee and other incentive type contracts such as CPFF, CPAF/IF, IDIQ and FFP.
You should have a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and a broad understanding of OCI issues and experience with mitigating OCI. Experience in negotiating teaming agreements.
You must be able to multi-task routine and complex contract activities with the ability to overview situations, review and evaluate, defining set plans to achieve business goals.
You should possess a Drivers Licence & be PC / IT literate, particularly in Excel, Access & spreadsheets.
Salary & annual profit sharing bonus paid in US Dollars & tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. Holiday entitlement is 5 weeks + public holidays. Ex-Pats receive health insurance & 1 paid return economy flight per year. Mobilization & De-Mobilization flights paid by our client.
