My client is an international consultancy group providing economic, strategy and appraisal advice to project developers, equity investors, banks and public sector bodies involved in infrastructure (road, rail, aviation, ports, energy, power) and project finance worldwide. They work at the conceptual,development and transaction phase of projects utilising applied economic and valuation techniques to evaluate various investment and policy options and
potential outcomes, helping their clients to make informed decisions and manage the risks in £multi-billion investments. They work with clients at a senior level to develop the project definition, regulatory and demand aspects,feasibility, valuation and funding.
The role
We are looking for a senior economist
ideally with infrastructure and project finance
experience, capable of leading, managing
and growing an established business unit
comprised of experienced economists and
financial consultants based in Central London.
In addition to developing the economics
business unit the successful candidate will
take an active role in the wider business,
sitting on the consultancy management board
and advising the main board on strategic and
economic issues.
The requirements
Excellent academic record including an
economics degree
Experience of marketing, selling and
delivering consultancy gained within an
advisory environment
Experience of applying economics in
infrastructure and asset intensive industries
(road, rail, aviation, ports, energy, utilities)
Experience of project finance and the
international PFI/PPP market.
International business development and
team leadership experience
