Director of Finance
West Yorkshire - Home Based
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Providing leadership of the finance function and being accountable for the use of financial resources;
- Ensuring robust financial management, internal control framework and that strategies support local and national priorities;
- Providing leadership to deliver Value for Money and Quality assurance;
- Taking the lead on the contracting of healthcare services;
- Providing leadership for the submission of evidence for external assessment; and
- Taking the lead on integrated governance.
The successful candidate shall be a fully CCAB (or equivalent) accountant, who has worked at Board level within a complex, multi-agency environment, and that has a detailed understanding of current NHS policy, and NHS systems and how they interface with the public and private sector. You shall also have to be able to demonstrate experience of managing and delivering complex change projects within complex organisations.
