The Job
As Director of Real-World Evidence with this specialist consultancy you will……

*Lead the development of the new 'Evidence' franchise as part of the group offer
*Set up a business platform to develop, implement and deliver real-world patient observational studies for input into message development as an element of the value demonstration process for payer reimbursement strategy
*Provide motivational leadership to the insights research team and line management teams
*Be the main source of pharmaco-economic expertise within the firm, specifically with reference to the recommendation of the design & implementation & delivery for observational patient research for value demonstration
*Provide strategic vision and direction to ensure the evidence research team delivers successful real-world research studies and meets client objectives


You
To be considered for this exciting opportunity the client is looking for you to have:

*10-15 years' experience of working in pharmaco-economics within the pharmaceutical industry
*At least 5 years working in a client facing, director level in the pharmaceutical industry
*A relevant degree in health economics or closely related discipline from a recognised university, preferably at advanced level (MSc or PhD)
*Fluency in retrospective, cross sectional and longitudinal research methodologies - both pre & post launch
*A thorough understanding of the differences & rational use of all types of research methodologies, eg cohort studies, patient registries, case control studies, audits, pragmatic trials, etc.
