The purpose of this role is to define, develop, implement and deliver the Travel Distribution strategy
and growth agenda whilst owning the Sales Function for Travel Distribution within Europe.

About the Role
Head up a sizeable team you will be tasked with the following:
Deliver agreed revenue growth through maximizing channel mix
Focus on reducing cost of sale within the segment
Measure ROI of marketing and promotional activities
Own the relationship with Key European Airlines Partnerships,
Online Intermediaries and Travel Partnerships
Oversee all negotiations within the Travel Distribution portfolio
Ensure that all processes, products and systems are aligned to deliver the growth agenda, employee and customer satisfaction within the Travel Distribution area.
Grow Revenue in line with the commercial strategy.
Responsible for the efficient running of the Account Management team.
Represent the business at sector targeted events and associations.
Provide training, guidance and feedback to Sales Team.
Develop and evolve best practices within the Travel Distribution area for Business Development and Sales
Responsible for execution and the delivery of the strategy via the various channels of responsibility
What We’re Looking For
Strong Sales and Business Development
Experience ideally from the travel sector
Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing Sales strategies for growth
International experience working with multi lingual, local structures where efforts are distributed between local and central teams
Clear understanding of the development of marketing programs that support the growth of revenue from partners
Experience in managing a team of professionals
Financial acumen with an attention to detail
Demonstrable experience in large scale negotiations and multi level relationship management
Web savvy and understanding of connectivity
