Director – Land Development – London/Bristol
London & Bristol - London
Our client is the building and property arm of a global property and engineering consultancy. Like many in their field they are starting to see signs of a recovery in the market place. As such they are currently looking to capitalise on these opportunities in the market by appointing a Director of Land Development who will increase their standing in the London and Bristol markets and increase turnover.
A strong track record in Land Development together with familiarity with the development process is seen as mandatory for this role as is a focus on client care and attention. A high level of technical acumen to complement this skill would also be extremely advantageous. This is initially a front end development role and whilst the market is beginning to pick up the primary objective of this individual is to create new opportunities and win work. Business Development skills and a knowledge of the marketplace is very important.
Only candidates that can demonstrate an ability to win work (gained over the last few years) and a client / contact base in Bristol, London and the SE will be considered.

Key Requirements
• Strong understanding of the development process from brown field through to completion
• Knowledge of developers and how they operate
• Clear understanding of the planning process and the steps involved
• A background in civil engineering advantageous but not essential
• Very strong business development skills
