Divisional Finance Manager, Retail

This role, working for a leading listed retailer, focuses on the corporate plan for retail controlled costs of over £2billion. Leading a small team, this highly interactive role will see you working closely with Store and Retail Area Managers and supporting the Retail Finance Director.

Specifically you will manage the Corporate retail cost P/L and balance sheet, lead the budgeting and forecasting process, identify drivers of overspend and develop action plans, prepare recommendations for key decision makers and develop cross functional plans with your counterparts in areas such as procurement, trading and logistics.

The ideal candidate will have had prior line management responsibility, strong experience in financial management, particularly budgeting and forecasting, and the ability to deal with senior level stakeholders. Importantly, you will be performance driven and possess the ability to challenge and influence.
