Our client is actively seeking an experienced EMEA Marketing Director who will lead their marketing efforts and strategy and drive the integration of Pan European brand positioning, advertising, promotions, public relations, creative services and vendor relations strategies to achieve annual business objectives. The business in question has grown rapidly with interactive gaming a business critical growth area. Therefore a background in video games is essential with successful track record with youth oriented new product introductions and launches. An integral part of the role is to deliver European input on the global product slate and the products at all stages of development and to ensure that the European requirements are properly represented in the global strategy. You will establish the companies label as a premium, high quality, entertaining and sought after brand across Europe. You will deliver European input on the product slate and provide feedback on products at all stages of development and manage a multi million pound European marketing budget and forecast. The successful candidate will have the executive courage to shift old paradigms, think out of the box and have the perseverance to interject new ideas aimed at driving consistent long term success for the business. Success in this role depends on relationships with the most senior executives and Chief Marketing Officers of both the development partners as well as promotional partners, European Country Directors and US Management team. You will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing, an MBA preferred and must be a seasoned marketing executive with 10 + years experience.
