European Sales Manager - Test and Measurement devices – Flexible UK Home Based - Excellent Salary, OTE, Car or Allowance, Blue Chip Benefits
Client – You will be working with a global leader in the measurement market, providing customers with a single source for the measurement of load, pressure, position, torque and vibration. They design and manufacture one of the broadest and most comprehensive product lines of pressure transducers, load cells and electronic sensor instrumentation.
ROLE – You will be European Sales Manager and will report to the EMEA Sales Director. Your responsibilities will include:
- Test & Measurement sales drive in Europe to meet goals set in the strategic plan
- Positioning client as a leader in the European Test and Measurement marketplace.
- Analysing the European test and measurement marketplace, the OEM's, the competitors and customer buying behaviours and to help the client's sales team develop strategies to grow European sales
- Helping define and implement these European sales and marketing strategies.
- Assisting in developing and supporting a repair and calibration business in Europe
- Assisting in refining current and developing new channels for both Capability customers (unique requirements and specs) as well as Convenience buyers (small lots via catalogue or rep channels)
- Assisting in developing and managing an EMEA wide sales network, consisting of direct (OEM) and indirect (Authorised distributors, reps) channels
- Helping existing distributors throughout Europe obtain their sales goals for the year through training and new business development.
- Soliciting business from accounts classified as ‘direct' and to visit customers with and without the help of the local distributor to get orders.
- Setting annual goals and business growth targets for each of the European distributors
- Assisting in developing marketing and promotional strategies for the client's marketing team and mar-com team to implement
