Our client is a global Big 4 accountancy firm.
About the Role
The Media Relations Manager will work to enhance the firm's brand and reputation internationally. You will work to build the media profile in the world's media for their key industry sectors and their leaders. Further responsibilities will include:
- Working with industry leaders to develop both practical and measurable PR plans
- Prepare press releases
- Engage with key international media to improve the firm's profile in these publications
-Build a strong network of journalists in key media
- Ensure industry sector initiatives and successes are communicated across the firm
- Manage the industry PR calendar
- Handle all enquires and assist with the support of global media events
What We’re Looking For
You will have either an agency or in-house background, with experience of working with either corporate, financial or professional services organisations. You will have proven experience of helping clients build effective media programmes as well as working with the international media (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.)
You will be experienced in working with very senior executives as well as operating in an international environment. As a result you will have cultural awareness and sensitivity.
You will be an excellent networker and communicator. You will be used to working to tight deadlines and managing several projects concurrently. You will be proactive, innovative and comfortable selling in your own work.
About the Offer
£45,000- £52,000 + package
