Engineering Manager
West Sussex - South Central / Coast
Our client has a strong presence in both military and civil aerospace, and allied markets. They are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling responsibilities for engineering group managers.
The Engineering Manager will:
+ Manage Group Managers, Technical Project Managers, and Senior Technologists and is responsible for a medium-sized organization of engineers
+ Assist in organizational strategic and technical planning
+ Leverage advanced principles, theories, and concepts of complex technical subjects to provide direction for employees
+ Operate pan-department to assist resolving engineering issues/problems
+ Support business development activity with external customers
The Engineering Manager will need:
+ Substantial management of engineering group or groups in a complex system and/or product engineering environment
+ Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline
+ Demonstrable track record in engineering development
