Engineering Manager – circa £60k
Based: South Wales
The Engineering Manager will provide a broad Systems Engineering input, acting as a point of contact to improve communication across the Engineering Function and where necessary providing an initial point of arbitration to resolve design conflict.
The Engineering Manager will actively engage with the Engineering team in the definition and development of platform system attributes and concept physical architecture.
Our blue chip client is part of a large US corporation and a major player in its market sector. The company is a well established and reputable supplier to the UK, international governments and a range of major organisations.
The successful Engineering Manager will hold a qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the design and development of platforms from concept through to series production. The Engineering Manager will have experience of defining and evaluating platform requirements together with contemporary knowledge of existing and emerging technologies in the areas of automotive, vehicular survivability and vetronic systems.
