ETL Project Manager

Rate: £450 to £600 (Contract)
This role is to Project Manage the ongoing implementation and roll-out of a daily and monthly pnl reporting and analysis capability provider. This is enabled through provisioning of a hierarchy management capability (Oracle DRM), an Oracle warehouse (10.2.0.4), OLAP (Essbase and Powerplay) databases, a Cognos reporting front end and a web-based process management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Management of IT development team to prioritise and deliver against a significant book of work including minor enhancements and major deliveries (phases 3 and 4)
- Represent IT at the Dart End User Working Group (fortnightly)
- Represent IT at the Global Markets Business Management forum (monthly)
- Ensure Dart work aligns to strategic direction being taken by Finance IT
- Ensure cost effective high quality delivery using onshore and / or offshore resources as appropriate.
- Management of the full project life cycle against tight time and budgetary constraints.
- Work with RTB Production support to ensure knowledge transferred to support delivered projects in production.
- Client relationship management
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
- Excellent knowledge of ETL, database and Reporting tools (especially Informatica / Composite / Cognos BI)
- Good knowledge of multidimensional database technologies (e.g. Hyperion Essbase; Cognos Powerplay etc)
- Project management experience and qualification
- Investment Banking experience
- Proven strong delivery focus across a multi-projects adhering to consistent project standards.
