European Account Director

A fast growing on-line subscription market-intelligence service company, providing news, analysis and information to business-developers and professional advisors are seeking an European Account Director. He/she will be expected to:

 Build and manage the European account management function and drive key account relationships through understanding the client’s objectives
 Develop and manage the implementation of strategy
 Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in Europe, particularly UK, Germany, Italy and Spain
 Maintain high visibility and impact with the clients
 Ensure that business development and sales activities are aligned to enable full use of the company’s service to clients
 Ensure account managers maintain a high retention rate
 Consolidate client feedback and evaluate trends to maintain customer satisfaction Build competitive knowledge and share best practice
 Develop and train Account Managers to ensure skills and support to perform at the highest possible level

Knowledge of fashion and retail across Europe would be an advantage and the successful candidate must demonstrate management skills. Fluency in oral English and other European languages and experience of managing across an international and diverse cultural business would be advantageous Experience in an online environment is desirable
