European Logistics Manager

Our client, a leading telecom equipment vendor, is currently looking to strengthen its middle management by recruiting for a European Logistics Manager.

The role –

• Optimise the Pan–European logistics platform by implementing feasible and advanced logistics operation modes.
• In charge of the logistics layout design
• Assisting in managing the performance of delivery capability development.
• Benchmarking with European logistics industry, implementing continuos optimisation planning for costing down logistics expense whilst also looking to improve logistics efficiency and security.

The Person –

• Strong knowledge of logistics and project delivery within the telecoms industry
• Strong knowledge of managing logistics service providers (LSP) and familiar with LSP resources, the import and export process, benchmarking of warehousing and distributions costs.
• Ability to manager a department with over 30 people across different European countries.
• Professional negotiation and co-ordination skills with Logistics Service Providers.
