The role has overall responsibility for championing our client’s products and services solutions through their European direct sales and partner organisations, as well as defining and managing the marketing program strategy for pipeline generation throughout Europe.
In this role, the Product Marketing Director will be responsible for creating and delivering content as well as communicating and supporting the sales process for all their products and services. The Product Marketing Director will be responsible for providing feedback to the sales, marketing, operations and product management teams regarding market, competitor and product/service requirements. This role will require direct management of two reports within the marketing & communications team in Europe charged with executing the demand generation & lead generation program across all European sales regions.
The Product Marketing Director will work with a regional sales team, typically comprising of Account Executives and Sales Engineers based at various locations across Europe. Specifically, the role will require the candidate to instigate and own a process of close collaboration and accountability re efforts to generate leads within named accounts in each territory, working closely with sales and inside sales to execute various Account Based Marketing strategies.
In addressing the needs of the sales force, the EMEA Product Marketing Director will draw on their full product and service portfolio. In addition the Product Marketing Director will draw upon other resources within the company (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Client Services, Professional Services, Business Development, etc.) to ensure successful delivery of marketing programs and sales enablement efforts.

Experience:
• Educated to graduate level
• Living within a commutable distance of Reading, UK
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts of, and proven experience in marketing complex enterprise software (e.g., SCM, CRM, PLM, or ERP solutions).
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management business process.
• 5+ years-successful experience of product marketing with a leading entrepreneurial software organization.
