European Sales Manager
Lewes, West Sussex - South East, South Central / Coast
Our client is a global market leader in digital drillhole surveying and core orientation instruments.
The company both sell and rent equipment with average sales orders values in excess of £40,000.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be UK based with responsibilities for existing customers, the multi channel distributor network and business development across the EMEA Region, the former CIS and North Africa.
The role will involve extensive travel across the regions and include hands-on product commissioning and training of end users.
Beyond the existing market areas opportunities exist for future business growth especially in Eastern Europe and the Caspian Sea regions.
Technical support will be provided by the UK manufacturing operations and future plans include the building and establishment of a regional sales team reporting into the European Sales Manager.
The successful candidate will receive in-depth product training initially at the Lewes site followed by 3/4 weeks of residential training in Canada.
A team player, you will have a strong background in drilling, geotechnical or downhole instrumentation disciplines with a proven track record in Sales Management, Business Development and managing multiple distribution channels.
